7/9/08: Nouveau Riche continues to make strides in positively impacting the lives of our youth. Recent collaborative efforts of Nouveau Riche and The Frank Edward Piccolo Foundation resulted in tremendous opportunity and the announcement of a developing financial literacy course for youth. Help 4 Kidz strives to make a positive impact in the lives of children from the inner city of Phoenix. Founder and President of the Help4Kidz Foundation, Rev. Eve Nunez’s latest program, Help4Teenz, works with at-risk, abused, neglected, or adjudicated youth. The program offers tutoring, anger-management, leadership-development and job-readiness services to help these teens develop positive behaviors, strengths, abilities and skills. At the June 2008 Nouveau Riche Real Estate Investment College, Piccolo spoke with a group of nearly 30 youth who are part of the Help4Teenz program, gave them a tour of the College, shared information about Nouveau Riche’s course offerings, and offered them the opportunity to speak with some Nouveau Riche students and learn about the positive possibilities for their future. Jim Piccolo has also met with Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and Nunez to discuss support of the organization’s community efforts. As an advocate for youth, Jim Piccolo announced plans to develop a financial literacy course for young adults. More information about this course coming soon. 6/23/08: On Wednesday, June 18, Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo had the distinct honor of attending the first-ever White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives Compassion in Action Roundtable on Financial Literacy in Washington, D.C. Comprised of the Presidential Cabinet Members, top political leaders, leading educators and bright, notable business people from around the country—including Anna Escobedo Cabral, Treasurer of the United States, and Charles Schwab, Chair of the President’s Council on Financial Literacy—this Roundtable focused on innovative and effective programs and partnerships that promote financial literacy among Americans of all ages. Piccolo commented that, although he has had many great opportunities throughout his life to work with incredible Christian, giving and successful individuals, this experience was “the highlight” of his career. “It was an amazing and incredible experience,” said Piccolo. Government officials and leaders recognize the need to turn around current economic trends by saving the individual citizens with the promotion of financial literacy and entrepreneurialism. Nouveau Riche offers a major solution to this challenge. Mr. Piccolo has given his commitment to his peers in Arizona to work on Arizona-based initiatives and will continue to do everything he can “to build the biggest, best company of entrepreneurs and self-made, self-built, independent individuals.”

4/14/08: On April 14, 2008’s “On Top of the World” event, Nouveau Riche CEO Jim Piccolo announced his vision for an innovative entrepreneurial center and shared architectural renderings of this estimated $74 million, cutting-edge facility. Situated on more than 30 acres, high on a plateau overlooking Phoenix, this aspiring adult learning center is destined to make all other attempts at an entrepreneurial center pale by comparison. This expertly designed facility focuses on the adult student and ease of learning—not to mention fun and relationship-building. Plans range from “neighborhoods” of complete “student housing” for adult learners and their families to lazy rivers connecting those facilities, to a “mellow zone”, Central Command Station, and so much more. The anticipated completion is planned for mid-late 2010.
